Congratulations to Monique McClain for having the courage to share her experience with bullying with legislators and students at the capitol this morning. Monique spoke for five minutes. She was accompanied and supported by her mother, grandmother, her tutor Matt and her friend. We had the opportunity to hear Monique rehearse her speech at our office with her tutor. We know that Monique was nervous about speaking and want to again congratulate her.
Way to go Monique!

Saw Monique on HBO ringside for Sergio Martinez's last 2 fights and her story touched me. Keep up the good fight and hopefully one day bullying will go the way of 8-track tapes :)
